(SitNews) Ketchikan, Alaska - Local Detectives were contacted yesterday by Investigator Shanigan with the Alaska Bureau of Investigation who was working with the Anchorage Police Department concerning a local man who was actively down-loading child pornography in Ketchikan.

Ketchikan Detectives working with the Alaska State Troopers, the U. S. Marshal Service and a member of Homeland Security executed a search warrant at a North Yorktown location.  At the time of contact by the Officers, Ryan Michael Thomas Brown, age 34 of Ketchikan, was reported to be actively downloading child pornography. 

Through live video feed, Detectives on scene worked with ABI Investigator Shanigan to obtain and preserve video evidence.  According to the Ketchikan Police Department, several pieces of computer equipment were seized. 

Brown was arrested for three counts of Distribution of Child Pornography and one count of Possession of Child Pornography.  He was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center and held without bail. 

The investigation is continuing and according to the Ketchikan Police Department, more charges are expected.
