Proud of KGH
By Donna Teal

Just a few lines about the excellent care given by all the staff at KGH. I have been a patient there several times and am still alive because of their wonderful talented care -- the first time in 1962 and several times since then. I also have had several family members healed there.

Because of the loving care given to my husband who passed away at 81 years old in New Horizons in 2006, I am now a volunteer there and I love volunteering! I have met so many nice, nice people, patients and all staff too. We are a team who care. I am proud to work with them all.

I have heard many, many complimentary words from people from all over the the world who have been patients in KGH and I pass them on and now to you who read this, that you know the doctors, nurses and technicians are all very well trained and always are taking classes to be up-to-date on medical knowledge and they are very caring, hard-working human beings with families here in Ketchikan too.

I am proud of Ketchikan General Hospital and for what it stands for.
