KGH Emergency Room
By Steve Smeltzer

Odd that the lady with her child had to wait four hours to see the emergency doctor.

Some 15 years ago I had rammed my head on a customer's low overhead beam. I had to wait four hours with a bruise, while three screaming babies were seen before me. That told me there was not enough emergency room personnel. At least the babies were seen by emergency room folks in a reasonable time. Me, I missed four hours of work. But then that was in the morning.

The other time I had to go to the emergency room, was after 9PM, and was able to get taken care of in less than an hour.
