Hurtful unnecessary article

I was appalled when I read the article in the paper written by reporter Tom Miller this past weekend titled "Teen Charged With Theft". I saw absolutely no redeeming social value in the article. What that article did was to remind lots of folks about a terrible loss and tragedy.

If a Mr. Miller is concerned about the drug problem here with our teens, and rightly so, he should offer positive solutions to the problem, not drag two young people through the mud in the name of "Journalism".

This story was unecessary and hurt people who are and were good, kind and loving. They made bad choices, just like some of the rest of us in our youth. Not to mention the hurt to the families and friends of these two.

I am not excusing what the young men did but see no reason for this story. Journalism! HA, My Left Toe! There are lots of other things here that reporters could use jouranlism skills to report.

A very hurtful and terribly unnecessary article Mr. Miller and KDN.
