Remarks hurt Ketchikan
By Michael McColley

Ketchikan Mayor Weinstein that will lose his next term as mayor because of his remarks about our Alaska governor. I didn't like any of the Mayor's remarks toward Gov. Palin, and I am sure those remarks will hurt Ketchikan's projects in the future.

Did you know I was told he gave the bridge money to Anchorage - could be wrong? Did you Mr Mayor? When you talk bad about politics Mayor, bad things happen.

I hope Palin makes Vice President of the United States. At least she's going forward with trying to help Alaskans by putting herself on the front lines.

What has our Mayor done for the people in Ketchikan -- raise taxes, boat moorage. Really, anything positive?
