Pres. GWB on "Maverick" John
By Mike Sawyer

September 05, 2008

Dear Editor

"John is an independent man who thinks for himself. He's not afraid to tell you when he disagrees. ... No matter what the issue, this man is honest and speaks straight from the heart," President George W. Bush addressing the Republican National Convention.

Internet research by a first grader would quickly reveal how "silent" President GWB has been on Brutal Tobacco. The same young and non-partisan mind would discover that Senator John "Maverick" McCain has not challenged pro-tobacco GWB in the last eight years.

Doesn't 450k annual tobacco related American deaths justify the need for a courageous and caring maverick?
