Thank you Governor Palin

Thank you Governor Palin for cancelling the financial boondoggle of the Ketchikan-Gravina bridge.

The proposed bridge, if built, would have been an ugly eyesore, hampering boat and aircraft traffic in the Tongass Narrows to satisfy the egos and pocketbooks of our local politicians and tourist oriented business owners while contributing to an already congested street system.
