Senior Center Serves Many
By Mike Branco

This is in regards to Mr. Beck's letter. Unfortunately there aren't many seniors that use the present facility for senior activities, wow you really have us pinned but there are three important pieces you might be forgetting.

First, the physical size of Senior Center limits participation, second is the fact that we provide more services than just our congregate meal program. We as an organization, also service close to 19,000 rides per year, which makes us the second largest transit provider on the island. This not only includes seniors but includes disabled citizens, too. Finally, we also serve 10,500 meals a year to Meals On Wheels.

Sincerely

Mike Branco
