Outsourcing Alaska Services
By Mary Hemli

I want the public to know that our food stamp program is outsourced to a foreign nation. Because these people do not speak good English they get the information wrong and make it impossible for Alaskans to use their card.

I have a pin that I have verified 3 times yet when I go to use my card it is rejected because of the pin. Then I get dun letters that tell me if I do not use my card it will be taken away from me. When I try to clear this up some foreigner tells me to get a different pin.

Aren't there enough people out of work that this state can put some to work? They are not only trying to steal our permanent fund money, but denying us jobs that are desperately
needed.

Thank you for letting me vent.
