Any Interest?

Bob, that is excellent feedback regarding students dropping out of school. I agree with everything you said so appropriately. These are exactly the issues I hope to address and attempt to make a positive difference for our kids.

You noticed I said "I". That is because my first attempt to find people willing to volunteer their time, talent, and ideas seemed to fall flat. Perhaps it's my involvement that is responsible for that. However, I'm willing to step aside if someone feels more able to be a catalyst for this group. It's not a special interest group. It is designed to serve the entire school district with regard to students that are still in school and try to attract those that dropped out.

Please call 225-4833 with any ideas or if you are interested in this effort. Future meetings are suspended until people have time to attend. I'm not sure what else one can do as an improved attempt than this. There is no budget, so we can't advertise like we would like to.

Respectfully,
