ANOTHER CHANCE
By Bill Thomas Sr.

Dear Sitnews:

Thanks to the Kaufmans for the good work they put into this forum. Like all readers and users, I appreciate this forum.

I am still trying to advocate to help our drop out students get back to school; or use another means of getting their high school education. A few of us put together a group we call ANOTHER CHANCE TO GET A HIGH SCHOOL EDUCATION. It's like any worthwhile effort that doesn't have a budget to work with. It is all volunteer services by people that have the desire to be a part of this and some time to commit.

We started off I thought pretty good. Then we seemed to fall flat. It requires communication and feedback interaction between meeting times. We managed to take a look at and discuss ideas we think will be a benefit to any student in the school district that wants our help.

I'm hoping there is enough interest and courage in this community for people to step forward and contribute to the health of our future. If you are interested in being a part of this or want information regarding this effort. Please call 225-4833 and ask for Bill or kindly leave voicemail. All messages will be responded to.

At this time. we plan to meet each Wednesday of this month at 6 pm at 429 Deermount. Meetings are subject to feedback of interest.

Respectfully,

Bill Thomas Sr.
