HURRICANE KATRINA RELIEF CONCERT
By Melva Olson

Hurricane Katrina has truly destroyed a great portion of our land, but more importantly it has ruined homes, people and daily life for many Americans.

Ketchikan has many, many talented people in the Arts. My plea for these people is to do a "Disaster Relief" concert for this great need in our country. With another month left of tour ships, it could be a great "American Spirit" to do it on the docks for all to participate in and enjoy. If this area wasn't possible, the civic center would also be excellent.

Think about this as a community. I would be more than happy to help out!! We are so lucky to be in the paradise we live in....

Thanks!
