BBBS Treated To 'Duck Boat' Cruise

Ketchikan, Alaska - Participants in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program of Ketchikan were provided a 'Duck Boat' cruise on Sunday courtesy of Alaska Amphibious Tours. According to information provided Gretchen Klein, the 'Duck Boat' was at full capacity and several people had to be turned away. Klein is the program coordinator of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ketchikan program.

An ice cream social followed the 'Duck Boat' cruise with ice cream sundaes served at the Salmon Landing. Klein said the ice cream sundaes were served by SaraJustine Black, Mike Mankins, and Annsia Motton.

Klein said, "The Big Brothers Big Sisters Duck Boat Cruise and Ice Cream Social was a great success!" She said, "Thanks to Alaska Amphibious Tours for taking time out of their day to take us out!"

"The Bigs and Littles enjoyed the Sunday BBBS activity," Klein said.
