(SitNews) Ketchikan, Alaska - No injuries were reported in a two vehicle collision Friday in the area of 2.1 mile South Tongass Highway.

The Alaska State Troopers and Saxman VPSO responded to the scene and their investigation showed that 45 year old Mabel Skan of Saxman was operating a 1994 Ford Ranger truck north bound when she rear ended a 2007 Ford F-150 truck operated by 44 year old Bradley Cota of Ketchikan.

Cota was towing a 20' aluminum boat on a trailer at the time of the collision. The boat and trailer as well as the kicker received extensive damage.

All occupants reported wearing seatbelts.

Skan's Ford Ranger truck was towed from the scene by Purdy's towing; Cota's vehicle was able to drive away without assistance.

Skan received a summons to appear in court for operating without liability insurance and operating without a valid driver's license.
