Road Construction
By Al Johnson

Sitting in the traffic during our North Tongass Highwasy re-construction reminded me that I wanted and am now, writing to say how much I appreciate the work ethic of the Secon construction company, crew and subcontractors is during this construction effort. The professionalism of the equipment operators is fascinating to watch, the daily dispatch of road debris is outstanding. Daily progress reflects rapacity towards the job completion.

Obviously, a lot of patience for operators to stop and start during traffic movement. That patience is evident in the faces of the workers who appear comfortable with the intrusion of traffic. The traffic guards are to be commended for their personal waves and smiles given back to passing traffic. I'd point out one particularly enthusiastic guard of obvious Eastern descent. Who can be distraught or upset after such a bright smile and a wave?

Secon, you folks have and are increasing your welcome reputation on the Island. Thanks for the effort and anticipated results.
