This special pediatric clinic will feature dental examination appointments on Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 18-19, with follow-up treatment taking place later in the week (Aug. 20-22). The clinic is open for children younger than 18 years old who are currently enrolled in the State of Alaska's Denali KidCare program or are on Medicaid. Dr. Phillip Hartgraves will lead the pediatric dental team for this clinic. Parents and guardians who wish to have their children participate in this special clinic should call Teresa Kato at the SEARHC Alicia Roberts Medical Center at 755-4918 to schedule an exam appointment. For more information about SEARHC's Denali KidCare special clinics, contact SEARHC Dental Health Systems Specialist Cara Land in Juneau at 364-4494, or call the SEARHC Alicia Roberts Medical Center number. Denali KidCare is a state program designed to make sure Alaska resident children younger than 18 of working and non-working parents, and expecting mothers who meet income guidelines, have insurance so they have full access to health care. SEARHC partners with the Denali KidCare program to provide special clinics around the region when pediatric dentists are available.
