Another whipple Creek "Prize"

Well I did it! I stopped at the Alaska Trooper's office to voice my concern at a new "Arrival" at the Whipple Creek pull out. A Cherokee Jeep, Ak Lic: EPP299 black and full of junk has been parked there after it sat at the entry of the mobile home park for a few days prior.

Trooper was nice, said that the Ketchikan Gateway Borough was responsible for removal of abandon cars and he would pass the item on to Borough enforcement .

Hummmm. I will venture that there is some lack of common sense law that will have this wreck there long enough for the windows to be broken out, household junk scattered, tires taken, body smashed and a visual eyesore.

Now if the damn thing were up Revilla road, Valla, pictures and such ASAP no doubt!

What's wrong with taking the license number, find the registered owner to find out what their plan for the car is. If told the old, "I sold that a long time ago" story and the fool didn't do the title paperwork, tough.

That's what we pay the big bucks for.
