Trolleys

I do not know how long the horse trolly has been in business here, but I do know that in the 13 years I've been acquainted with Ketchikan, the bright red trolleys and the beautiful horses that pull them have never bothered me. A slower drive through the city because of the horses' pace is not unpleasant. My children and I love hearing the muscular horses clop through town. We have enjoyed a free tour every summer for the past 5 years and the drivers, narrators, and managers have been very kind. I realize that we do not all agree about the horse-drawn trolleys.... but I thought I could share with you my opinion. I like to believe that there will always be room in this city for the horse-drawn trolleys.
