YES VOTE ON 2 ESSENTIAL

Proposition 2 arises as a result of legislator and local government
cruise ship intimidation and a failure of the legislature to
adopt some uniform legislation setting cruise line head tax and
revenue tax amounts overall and establishing appropriate regulatory
control over unfair cruise ship trade practices.
If passed the legislature will most certainly amend the initiative
terms. But passage will ensure that the legislature directly
faces the issues and does so from the standpoint of a neglected
Alaska public which should express its discontent with inaction
by a substantial yes vote majority.
