French chickened out

Surprise ... The French have surrendered! Yesterday they agreed with us that the only reasonable way to resolve the Hazbollah problem in South Lebanon would be to put in a credible international force willing to slug it out with Hazbollah which is nothing less than an arm of the Iranian Armed Forces. The UN's UNIFIL "troops", observers actually, have been there for years and the terrorists installed thousands of missiles right under the UNFIL noses. If Israel should back off, Hazbollah with the sponsorship of Iran and its nutty leader would start setting up rockets again, in civilian neighborhoods, in masques, in hospitals. Israel is not going to do that. It would be akin to suicide!

The news today is that the French U.N. Delegation has joined with Arab nations and is now calling for a complete and immediate Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon as a condition of any cease-fire, the sources said. In addition, the French have reportedly agreed with Arab demands that the Lebanese force be accompanied only by UNIFIL, with no international force to be deployed. What happened? Are the French as usual trying to embarrass us? Were the French threatened either by outside France terrorists or by terrorist elements from within the Arabs and Muslims living in France? In any case the French chickened out. Again!
