Governors saving Time
By Charlotte Tanner

Pete Ellis states that our present Governor's jet creates vast amounts of free time for this Governor, in which I assume, this Governor is supposedly doing good deeds for the citizens of Alaska.

I wonder how our beloved Jay Hammond managed to do so many wonderful things for this state, all the while utilizing the commercial airlines available? Jay Hammond would have never wasted the fuel, nor an Alaskan's money, purchasing a jet for his private pleasure and campaigning. And judging from the amount he accomplished in his lifetime, I doubt if he ever wasted his time.
