Interesting letter by Ms.West, city council member on your letters of August l6th. Evidently Ms. West does not know that whatever monies she approves to be spent by the council is PUBLIC MONIES. For one just completing a term on the council and announcing her candidacy for another term, perhaps she should explain why the $25,000 approved did not come from the public funds. What other monies does the city council control that is not public?? Walt Bolling
