Zero Tolerance

In Leman's report of back to school success -- sounds great and I would add as number six (6) encouraging respect amongst students.  Harrassment in the schools is never mentioned but needs to be viewed as part of educational pusuits.  The schools  have long lamented that they can't be responsible for social problems.  As a parent and grandparent I am not asking that.  I am asking that the schools do more than plaster respect posters on the walls of their schools and make it a mandatory agenda item for the student body.  I have faith in our students and if they see that there is zero tolerance, not just on paper, but amongst administration, teachers, and student body, the message will soon become clear.  With that our schools willl definitely have a successful school year.  Let's do it schools ---- Zero Tolerance on Harrassment amongst students.
