Junk Vehicle Dumpers Strike Again
by Jerry Cegelske

The people that don't care about Ketchikan or the people that live here have struck again by dumping off a 1981 Datsun 280 ZX at the Knudson Cove parking lot.  They could have dropped it off at the Ward Cove Mill site for free after getting a voucher for it's disposal.  Fortunately I was able to obtain some information on it which I will follow up.  Unfortunately after it was dropped off the vandals proceeded to break all the windows and make a general mess of the area with broken glass and body parts strewn around the area.   Someone was also too lazy to take the small Honda pump to the dump to properly dispose of it.  Hopefully we will be able to identify the people that dropped it off to issue a $200.00 citation or it will be more Borough $$$ wasted.

Any information on where this junk came from would be greatly appreciated.
