Our economy is in a shambles; trading the same products, increasing the foreign trade! All of the manipulations in our market, has one effect; increasing the profits of everything! Transportation being he motor. This is the reason for the once $600.00 motor Vehicle, back in 1939; now costs $20,000.00! Politicians drum up all kinds of crises, to "fund"; and increase their "take"! Nothing changes; only everything; (Products), increases in cost! The present taxing system is the result of political pay-offs, and favorites. Embedded taxes; those we pay without knowledge; now amount to approximately 22% of the cost of EVERYTHING! This 22% is a long line of taxes on the manufacturing and productions, just to start any business! This has caused the growth of Mega' corporations and companies, and in effect allowing monopolies to flourish! The Fair Tax will certainly curb the practices; What is the Fair Tax? The Fair Tax is a replacement of the present income tax system. A VERY SIMPLE way to collect the taxes for the operation of our Government. There are NO exceptions; and NO favoritism, Every person who buys anything and gets any service performed, will pay the tax! Retailers and service providers will collect the taxes at the time of the sale, and that's the end of it! NO receipts or record keeping! NO searching for deductions or loop-holes!
