First I need to clarify Mr Johnson's comments, I do not work in a state funded halfway house or in the substance testing industry. I have not lost my job due to Pot legalization in Colorado. I have moved to Ketchikan and still employed in the same industry and company for the past 14 years and it is 0% drug related. I am still trying to figure out how long you need to live here before you should be able to comment on important issues as this. I am a registered voter in Ketchikan.
You suggest that we should not leave our children's future to a judge. That is emotion talking and not reason. What decisions do you want to take away from the legal system. Who will pick and choose what judges are allow to handle. Do we go the way of the anarchist and just let judges rule when we know and like what the outcome going to be. We are a nation of laws ( except in the Whitehouse unfortunately ) not mob rule.

Look what is going on at the southern border without a government willing to enforce the law. The border agents are overwhelmed by the drug cartels forcing thousands of children across the border to cover their Marijuana smuggling to Colorado and Washington State.

Marijuana is a dangerous drug, you can Google all kind of false information of the internet to support any kind view you want to have but when it comes down to it the government has documented how dangerous it is. I think the rash of suicides whether accidental or on purpose while under the influence of this deadly drug should open the eye of every parent. I believe if you are for the children then you should vote to keep it an illegal drug and become involved in your kids life so that turning to drugs like marijuana is not an option they would even consider!
