(SitNews) Ketchikan, Alaska - Rosie Roppel, President of Ketchikan's First City Rotary, announced the winners of the organization's 2013 Duck Race Results held on July 4th. This year's grand prize winner of $2,500 is Adam Archibald. Coming in behind Archibald's high-speed little yellow rubber duck, was the second place rubber duck paddling in a $1,500 prize for Larry Richards. And, Samantha Anderson's rubber ducky banked $1,000 as the 3rd place winner.

Roppel said the proceeds from this annual event go for great causes around the Ketchikan community such as Dictionaries for all 3rd graders and Vocational and University Scholarships.
