Are we ever disappointed?

NO! We are never disappointed in any of the multitude of events on our island that give us beauty in talent. And so it was again this past week end - CLassics a'la Carte. High school students, recent Kayhi graduates, long time Ktn residents: ensembles, solos, duets: instrumental, vocal. For 2 hours we were engaged, in awe, amazed, enthralled - glad for the evening. Bravo to each one who shared with us just a little of their 'joy of music'.

If you missed this year's evening of Classics a'la Carte - you don't want to miss next year's 3rd annual evening of performance. Music is not the only 'arts and humanities' to enjoy in our community. There is dance, poetry, painting, sculpting, pottery, readings - just to name a few. And these areas know no discrimination and not age limits. What a wonderfully talented community we live in that helps us think beyond the weather.
