MAIL BALLOT THE ONLY CORRECT VOTING SOLUTION
By Pete Ellis

Michael Spence has certainly "hit the nail on the head" in terms of local election needs and results.  The mail ballot is the only solution in terms of determining what the local voting residents really want.

Voter access is the vital need and mailed ballots to every registered voter prior to any election are the solution to correctly determining citizen needs and desires.   Consider the following:

1.0    Ease of voting and minimal time and effort.   Received by mail with ballot self-addressed and postal return mailing provided with an enclosed envelope.

2.0    Vote when received, or when convenient, a with minimum expenditure of time and effort.

3.0    Precinct places eliminated and expenses in terms of polling place officials done away with.

4.0    Mail ballots received and collected by city and borough clerks plus checked and reviewed to ensure multiple ballot possibilities are eliminated.

Many other benefits as covered in the Mike Spence letter of June 29th, 2012 which needs to be read by all and implemented by our Assembly and Council members.   We want maximum voter turnout and input.    Let's eliminate the restrictions and limitations.
