Two Drug Arrests By KPD

(SitNews) Ketchikan, Alaska - The Ketchikan Police Department announced Wednesday that two drug arrests were made this month.

On July 3rd, officers of the Ketchikan Police Department intercepted a shipment of approximately one ounce of Methamphetamine bound for Ketchikan.  Arrested and charged was Nenita B. Estipona, 51 years of age of Ketchikan. Estipona was arrested and charged with Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree for possession of Methamphetamine with intent to distribute, and Tampering with Physical Evidence after a search of her residence.

On July 16th, officers of the Ketchikan Police Department intercepted a shipment of approximately 7.2 grams of heroin bound for Ketchikan with the assistance of the police department K-9 “Booker.” Micheal Meacock, 25 years of age of Ketchikan, was arrested and charged with Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Second Degree for possession of heroin with intent to distribute.
