Free Sleep Disorders Presentation

Ketchikan, Alaska - Dr. David Morison, board-certified sleep disorder physician from the PeaceHealth Medical Group in Bellingham, WA, will make a free presentation on sleep disorders. The presentation will be Wednesday, July 7th, 6-7 p.m. in the Ketchikan General Hospital Education annex located on the second floor of the Plaza Mall, above the Wells Fargo bank.

Dr. Morison will discuss:

  • The Importance of Normal Sleep.
  • What is Normal Sleep?
  • The Dangers of Daytime Sleepiness.
  • Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
  • The Relationship Between Obstructive Sleep Apnea and Hypertension, Stroke, and HeartDisease

Dr. Morison is one of the physicians that regularly visit the PeaceHealth Sleep Center at Ketchikan General Hospital, where patients from Southeast Alaska with sleep disorders are tested and treated. The phone number for the PeaceHealth Sleep Center is (907) 228-7649.

The one-hour presentation is open to the public and plenty of free parking is available in the mall parking lots. Reservations are not necessary to attend.
