Japanese Knotweed

I have had this awful weed behind my shoe shop here in Northampton,
UK for the last 4-5 years if not longer. It will NOT go away,
despite everything I try to do. We are now using a powerful
chemical that my husband uses on his farm to see if does the
trick so it is just a matter of waiting to see the result.
I have been in touch with my local council with no luck. I cannot
afford to employ any specialist help - so in a word, HELP!!
