BACK-TO-SCHOOL IMMUNIZATION CLINICS

Ketchikan, Alaska - The Ketchikan Public Health Center will be holding several Back-to-School immunization clinics during the month of August.

Students in kindergarten through sixth grade will need two medically-verified doses of varicella (chickenpox) vaccination or a history of chickenpox disease recorded by a medical provider on the State of Alaska immunization exemption form in order to attend school.

All students attending Ketchikan High School or Revilla must have a current Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis) vaccine.

Regular immunization clinics for the month of August:

Teen Drop-In Clinic, every Monday afternoon 2 - 4 p.m.
Friday Drop-In Clinic, every Friday 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Back-to-School immunization clinics in August:

Every Wednesday from 1 - 6 p.m.
Tuesday and Thursday August 25 and 27 from 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
And, Wednesday August 26, special hours from 8:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.

The Ketchikan Public Health Center asks that you bring a current copy of your child's immunization record with you.
