Bird nest "Down"
By A.M.Johnson

Editor:

If the good people of Juneau don't bark at their utility provider having to pay $50,000.00 for blowing up an eagle nest, then the cost of moving the Capital is not an item of expense worth consideration.

At the very least, the fine should be prorated per capita on community utility bills, much like a diesel sure charge. Oil and feathers, making strange bird fellows.

What a wonderful example of environmental "Stupid". Just what Juneauites need following 400% increase in utility cost.
