SOMEBODY AND SOMEWHERE

I (WAS) INTERESTED IN COMING TO KETCHIKAN FOR A VISIT-- CAUSE LET'S FACE IT, THIS IS WHAT KETCHIKAN IS -- A TOURIST TRAP.

LET ME JUST SAY TO THE READER THAT IS SO UPSET ABOUT "OUTSIDERS" WRITING IN TO "your" OPEN FORUMS, I've been reading this open forum for over five years. I have learned just about everything there is to know about your little tourist trap of a town. YEAH, you're all about the money we put into your pockets that allows you to live on this Island year round. HOWEVER this isn't enough NOW you want the tax payers of the lower forty eight to pay for your bridge to NOWHERE and I say again NOWHERE!!

However now there is a dirt road that is three miles long that will cost millions and you want tax payers' money for this too - WHICH YOU HAVE. WHAT THE (????).

You wonder why your youth are leaving - they don't want to grow up to be adults like you. THIS IS CRAZINESS you as a community voted the bridge project down and for some reason it is still going to be built -- WITH TAX PAYERS MONEY. Sounds like to me before you throw STONES -- you need to "FIX" your glass houses!!!

By the way I WON'T blacken' Ketchikan's door way -- but I'm paying for your bridge and a road. However I will keep reading. I'm A TAX PAYER -- plus this is better then desperate housewives....

About: "My expertise on this matter is that I am a tax payer concerned about how my tax dollars are spent like the millions of dollars being spent in towns that should be supporting their own bridges and dirt roads!!!!"
