I have been reading with a lump in my throat all the wonderful things you folks are saying about your O.B. Nurses. I learned so much in the 3 years I worked there, I loved every minute of my job in the Nursery. I am a very old timer but I worked with Dr. Richard Babcock and he was the best!!!! I also worked with Katie Godwin CNM

You ladies who deliver in Ketchikan don't realize how lucky you all are!! I had my 1st baby in Ketchikan 30yrs ago and it was the best experience of my life, so much so that I told myself someday I would go to school and become what I had seen in Ketchikan, and I did that 10 years after graduating from Ketchikan High school.

Ketchikan is a awesome place to deliver a baby. I work in a Hospital that averages 200 deliveries a month,I try to follow the example that was taught to me so many years ago by some dedicated Drs. and nurses who even after all these years I still can recall - hats off to the fine staff at Ketchikan General Hospital on the OB unit, who still contine to give the utmost quaility care.
