Dirty Bug
By Dawna Vigil

July 06, 2006
Thursday

I was also very upset about the anti-war bug in the parade. I cannot believe that they were allowed to even participate. When all the men and women walked by in uniform I clapped as loud and as hard as I could. They deserve to be supported for everything that they have done.

I love my country. I love the freedom we have. But the freedom we have is all thanks to our military men and women. They keep us safe from harm. They protect our waters, our land, and the air above. So please, when you walk by someone in uniform, please shake their hand or even give them a hug, and say, "Thank you so much for everything you have done. Thank you for all the sacrifices you have made in order for us to feel safe."

SEMPER PARATUS,
