I think Glen Bell hit the nail on the head in his response to the bridge discussion. That bridge has been a topic of discussion for 30 years hasn't it? Seems it was when I moved there in 1971 (or it came up shortly thereafter).

Each year the price increases, and the same pros and cons keep surfacing. I don't think anybody really knows how the bridge, if built, will be maintained, how much it will cost, or who will do it. That bridge could be a boondoggle, or it could be a very good addition.

Beating a dead horse? Probably. I'm turning my attention to the LIVE horses at Del Mar Race Track beginning this next week.
