Walk in my moccasins
by Don Hoff Jr.

My accusatory language is a free history lesson. If you think that believing strongly about an issue and expressing your feelings on said issue is zealous, then I guess you're right.

One day I will be moving back to Ketchikan, Alaska to protest against the proposed bridge construction to Gravina Island via Pennock Island. Just because I don't live Ketchikan now, doesn't mean I don't have an opinion about my land, my heritage and my people.

In regards to Mr. Johansen's opinion of me, he may have been sheltered from any form of discrimination, who knows. He needs to walk in my moccasins and see what we see, think and how we live. This is my own opinion.
