Union Made
by Patti Fay Hickox

Saturday

There is a guy downtown with 2 picket signs. He stated that one of the jewerly shop owners did not pay his wages. He also stated that some of the tax money collected downtown does not get into the city coffers. This is his statements and I don't know if they are true. But I do know that he has a right to picket.

Remember when the dime store was on strike? No one that belonged to a union would cross that picket line. At least this guy can "stand up and be counted."
