4th of July

I am so disappointed in what should have been a really great
Fourth of July for us locals here. For the most part free from
tourist over crowding the streets making it tough for the locals
to enjoy any part of the Fourth's downtown celebration. So why
does it seem like this year must have been one of the most lamest
Fourth of Julys in Ketchikan?
I am now starting to understand
why some people leave and go elsewhere to celebrate. Was it because
there was no tourist in to help up the profit for the city? I
am sorry to seem so harsh but it's so hard to see what the Fourth
has become here as to what it used to be. Am I the only one who
was disappointed in the Fourth of July here?
