(SitNews) Ketchikan, Alaska - Governor Sean Parnell announced this week that Ketchikan will host the 2014 traveling Governor’s Family Picnic. The Ketchikan picnic will be held on July 24 at Ward Lake from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m.

“Sandy and I look forward to joining the great people of Ketchikan and Saxman for the 2014 traveling Governor’s Family Picnic.”

The annual Governor’s Family Picnics are made possible by generous donations from Alaska businesses and hundreds of volunteers.
