I am all in favor for providing the requested two year funding request by OceansAlaska’s Southeast Alaska Mariculture Industry Initiative’s (SAMII). What a winning combination of increasing the Ketchikan labor force in a safe, clean, and sustainable industry.
It fits very well with the obvious maritime nature of our community. Seems like a no-brainer to me.
