Herring Cove bridge

It grieves me so read about happenings here on our island that are harmful and hurtful. So tonight as I sit in my little cottage and view (again) the folks, families, and couples walking across the road to get a view of the water, the fish, the eagles, the bears; or maybe the sunsetting over the water out here away from all the hustle and bustle of the day, I am encouraged and want to let you know.

In spite of the those who would put harm and hurt in our way - there are many who enjoy the simple quiet at the end of the day, out here south of town at the end of the road, and share it with each other. I have wanted to go out and talk with you - but then, perhaps you just want to enjoy on your own terms. This part of the road has 'peace' to offer to all who would stop by.
