Place it here, or place it there!

Everyone has their idea of where the new library, fire station, museum , or other buildings should be placed. I would like to inject my thoughts as well.

Let's vision remodeling, and expanding the present site of the library. Extending the area across Ketchikan Creek with large windows where visitor's could view the creek , How nice would that be?

Remove the museum and place it in the old Fire Station after remodeling, after the new Fire Station is built. I am sure that doing this would not cost nearly what new buildings would cost, as well as, keeping both identities in the downtown core. I wonder if anyone has envisioned this concept? Now's the time to make economic choices that will not burden our children and grandchildren for years to come.
