Another fantastic Every Other Tuesday event will take place on
July 3rd. This is the second event of this ongoing summer project
to bring the community downtown for shopping, music, activities
and fun! The music, hosted at The Startled Salmon in Salmon
Landing from 5:30 to 9pm will include but not limited to the
bands Slug Tussle and Austin Hayes and Co.
The activities for this night
will be dancing, hosted at the Ketchikan Theatre Ballet (400
Mission St.) and doing a variety of dancing styles, instructed
by Jerry Pierce from 5:30 to 7pm. Also the film Napoleon Dynamite
will be shown at 7pm, hosted at the Crow's Nest Internet Cafe.
Businesses are open late for locals, so come downtown for an
enjoyable community evening from 5:30 to 9pm this Tuesday.
These businesses have volunteered to stay open later for locals
and their hours on the Every Other Tuesday nights are:
