Ketchikan, Alaska - With exceptional weather Wednesday, the Ketchikan
Yacht Club couldn't have asked for a better day to fill the Tongass
Narrows with colorful sailboats and begin their June Series races.
Every Wednesday during the
summer months, Ketchikan Yacht Club sailors can be seen in the
Tongass Narrows racing.

According to the Ketchikan Yacht Club's web site, Ketchikan offers
some of the world's finest sailing and notes there is nothing
like sailing through Southeast Alaska's mountains, with several
species of whales, porpoises, seals, and sea lions.
The June Series races are sponsored
by Davies-Barry Insurance Company and the next racing dates are
June 14th, 21st, and 28th.
