An awesome principal!!!
By Rhonda Bolling

When I read the article that said Mr. Eklund was going to be demoted as Kayhi's Principal, I thought to myself, "Oh boy, this is going to cause an uproar." I immediately decided I had to write a letter to Sitnews. Well, days passed and I didn't get around to writing that letter and am reading now all the letters in support of Mr. Eklund. I feel ashamed of myself that I have waited this long to offer my support. I am sure there are a lot more people out there in the same situation as me.

Mr. Eklund is an awesome principal!!! Not only is he a good principal and administrator, but he truly cares about his students. Have you ever been at any after school events? He is always there. Mr. Eklund should get the "spirit" award. He is instilling school pride in our kids that has been lacking.

I know my high school son and my family respect Mr. Eklund immensely and support Mr. Eklund as Kayhi's Principal. A demotion for Mr. Eklund is a demotion for our kids and our town.

Please, Mr. Martin and School Board, reconsider this action toward Mr. Eklund and reinstate him as Kayhi's Principal.

Thank you,

Rhonda Bolling
