Philadelphia Boys Choir

A HUGE thank you to the Philadelphia Boys Choir for taking the lunch hour yesterday to bless us with their heavenly voices.

A BIGGER thank you to Rosemary Perry for making all the arrangements to have this choir perform for us.

For those of you who missed yesterday's free concert at Holy Name, you missed an opportunity of a lifetime. I have never heard a world class boys choir (or any boys choir for that matter) up close and personal. I feel fortunate to have been able to listen to and watch them yesterday. My boys and I sat in the 2nd row and were mesmerized from the first stirring version of "America" to the last Lion King song "Circle of Life". We really enjoyed watching the director play the piano extremely well all the while directing with his hands, eyes, mouth, head and whole body. All the while flipping the pages of music, which in itself is an art.

Again, thank you both the Boys Choir and Rosemary. Our community was blessed yesterday.
