Thank You Raven Rescuers

We just wanted to publicly thank the individuals who were
instrumental in rescuing a tangled up raven from a tree in our
neighborhood last week. We especially wanted to thank Steve Sarro
of the Deer Mountain Hatchery and Eagle Center and Ketchikan
firefighters Dave Breitkreutz and Jim Hill and the crews of engines
one and two. Also a big thanks to KPU for providing the bucket
truck.
The raven was tangled up in some old baseball twine 35 feet off
the ground, so it was not an easy "rescue" and we really,
really appreciate the time and effort these folks put in.
